Daniel J. Lopez, DVM, is completing a small animal rotating internship at Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. After his internship, he will start a surgical residency program at Cornell University.
Ameet Singh, DVM, DVSc, DACVS, is an associate professor and small animal surgeon at Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. He earned his DVM from Atlantic Veterinary College and completed a small animal rotating internship and small animal surgical residency at University of Guelph, where he also earned his DVSc. His primary research interests include surgical site infections and minimally invasive surgery.
Daniel D. Smeak, DVM, DACVS, is a professor and chief of surgery at Colorado State University. His research interests include development and assessment of innovative methods to train students and residents in core surgical skills, as well as investigating a wide range of soft tissue surgical conditions. He remains active in the soft tissue surgery specialty practice at his institution, and he enjoys delivering interactive CE lectures and wet laboratories to veterinarians worldwide.
